Today it's pouring rain out, something that, when I'm posting subchaser documents, makes me think of what life on board these boats must have been like: wet all the time below decks, and wet most of the time on deck. This, of course, is why in so many chaser photos we see anything and everything hanging out to dry, from clothing to bedding.
You can see an example of this in the photo of SC 346 just posted, mattresses forward, one hung over the anchor davit, and clothes strung aft. Sunny days must have been especially appreciated.

Recently added to the SC 95 Crew Photos page are two photo scans, one showing officers on board, and the other showing SC 95 under way after ice had been broken in Norfolk harbor.
Two sets of photos recently added include crew photos and chaser photos from the service of SC 346. SC 364 served at Plymouth and Queenstown (Cobh).
