Vol. 12 No. 1, January, 2016

Happy New Year to the visitors and followers of The Subchaser Archives. I look forward to seeing more of the documents, photos, and other materials contributed to the site by descendants of chaser crewmen and others interested in the history of WWI submarine chasers.

This year I'm switching to a shorter format for the Subchaser Archives Notes newsletter. Instead of a list of article abstracts / thumbnails, I will just list new additions with links to the relevant pages. I hope this will make the newsletter easier to use.

Please do click through to see the photos and documents. I continue to be impressed with the fascinating items that are submitted. It seems that every few months something comes in that hasn't been seen in the Archives before: a view of a particular chaser, a rare below-decks photo, a detail of equipment or armament -- new pieces of the overall picture.

Best wishes for a prosperous and healthy 2016.

--Todd Woofenden, editor
