For those of you interested in model building, a site visitor noticed the Painting and Cementing booklet on The Subchaser Archives site, and sent me this link to a company that sells reproduction WWI paint colors: http://battlefleetmodels.com/id137.html .
And, along those same lines, if you are working on a WWI chaser model, send in some photos for the Showcase section of the site. In-progress photos are welcome, as well, to show how the project came together.

Engine room fires were common on chasers, as flammable vapors tended to build up below decks. SC 219 was among those lost to fire. This month a photo is added to the SC 219 page showing the incident. Thanks to Matthew Wilson for submitting the image to The Subchaser Archives.
Courtesy of his son Tom Asher is a set of photos from the collection of subchaser crewman Wayne B. Asher, showing scenes on SC 114 or SC 115.
