Earl B. Nichols served as a Listener on submarine chaser SC 99. These are photographs from his service, submitted by his grandson, Scott Rimmer.
SC 99 was commissioned in New York on 3 March 1918, and served in ASW operations from the subchaser base in Plymouth, England.
Earl Nichols is second from the right, behind the two men in the foreground.
