Minesweeping Orders for the Minesweeping Detachment is a document dated May 31, 1919, containing orders for the minesweeping detachment.
The booklet pages were punched on the left and bound with removable brass tacks, so that updated pages could be added. In this copy, several older pages containing outdated signals (scans of which are included) were removed and inserted at the back of the book.
Chasers played an essential role in the mine sweeping operations in the North Sea, following the sweepers and shooting and sinking unexploded mines cut free by the sweeps.
