Submarine chaser SC 433 was built at Port Clinton, OH at Matthews Boat, but wasn't completed until after the war had ended. In 1919 this chaser was transferred to the Coast Guard. These photos of a model of the chaser were submitted by Bill Farress, who's wife's uncle Don was an avid model builder and lived near to the port where the chaser was docked in the 1930s. The boat foundered off the Charlotte Pier (Rochester, NY) in 1938 and sunk.

Thanks to Bill Farress for submitting the photos to The Subchaser Archives.
