After the war, a number of the subchasers that were stationed at Corfu were sent up the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, and assigned to take possession of Austrian warships that were to be handed over.

Two notable ships were SMS Radetsky and SMS Zrinyi, shown here in photos from the collection of a crewman on submarine chaser SC 248.
