Vol. 13 No. 8, August 2017

Now and then, files and videos appear online that show rare images of WWI-era submarine chasers. I'm grateful to the contacts who send in notes about these.

A couple of people recently noted an image of submarine chaser SC 214 in a video on the 1926 hurricane in Miami. A news story is here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/18/miami-hurricane-1926_n_3948148.html and there is a video of the Smithsonian presentation (America in Color: The 1920s) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7-uIKyavxE (see around 31:35)

Thanks to Tom Martin and Sam Tribble for these links. Definitely worth a look.

More content to be posted to the site soon! I have fallen behind recently, as most of my time this past month has been spent prepping my novel for print (which has nothing whatever to do with WWI submarine chasers, but if you're curious, you can see it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0742GVPL1?ref_=pe_2427780_160035660 )

Please keep sending the links, and have a great summer.
