Shortly after the war, members of the chaser crews formed an American Legion post, with Alexander Moffat as President. Moffat was CO of SC 143, and authored the book, Maverick Navy.

This is the first issue of the Sub-Chaser Post, the newsletter of Post 601, dated June 7, 1920.
