An interesting shot of the aft crew's quarters.Note the small stove, a coal or possibly oil-fired stove. Early on, during the harsh winter of 1917-1918 in New London when the chasers were being fitted out, oil stoves were installed to provide supplemental heat. In this compartment later images show a larger coal-fired stove.

Note also the raised rims dividing the table surface.
